Terry and Paddy Wilding opened the Glendale Toy Museum in 1987.
Paddy a teacher from Blackpool had collected toys since her childhood.
Terry from Wigan was a design draughtsman working for Leyland Bus.
Leaving the rat race behind they moved to historic Holmisdale House
in Glendale on the Isle of Skye
In May 2002 a massive fire devastated the house and museum but thanks to support from locals and friends plus the insurance company they have rebuilt
the house and the museum. However donations of toys and games are still most welcome. Do not throw it out before you give us the chance to do it.
