The curator of the toy museum is delighted to say that he is again producing the fantastic game of games - Crokinole . This famous Canadian board game with its origins in shuffle board is now available in limited numbers .
Made in a range of materials ie MDF or Chipboard with sides in pine or recycled whisky barrel oak.
For 2 to 4 players divided into teams. It is possible for up to 8 people to play ie 4 x 2
White facing white - black facing black . Black opposite white if 2 players. Each with own quarter.
The first player tries to flick the disc into the centre hole
Any disc going into the centre hole counts 20 and is removed to be scored at the end of the round
The opponent must then hit the disc to stay on the board . If it does not - it must be removed
Any disc touching the outer circle is to be removed. When all have played their 6 discs the score is counted. Any disc touching the circle lines go into the next lower scoring area.
Inner circle 15 points , middle circle 10 points , outer circle 5 points.
Black and white discs in same circle cancel each other. Take one score off the other. ie Someone is always on zero . First to reach 100 wins the game
